OVERSEAS LISTING
Investment in companies that will go for overseas listing
Objective
- To participate as an equity partner in Companies that intends to be listed in overseas exchange.
- To support the government's effort to increase bumiputera equity holding in the capital market.
Criteria of Target Company
- Malaysian incorporated company that has secured an agreement to be listed overseas.
- The main business activity must be operating in Malaysia i.e. a minimum of 50% of its revenue must come from its Malaysian based company.
- Have appointed advisors for the listing exercise overseas.
Size of Investment
- Maximum of RM10.0 million.
Tenure of Investment
- Maximum of three (3) years.
Investment Structure
- For New Issues - To subscribe to a minimum of 5% and maximum of 30% from the enlarged equity interest in the Target Company.
- For Existing Shares - To subscribe to a minimum of 5% and maximum of 30% from the equity interest in the Target Company.
- Combination of both new issues or acquisition of shares from existing shareholders.
- Instrument: Ordinary shares in the Target Company.
