YOUTH FRANCHISE SCHEME

Objective

To encourage Bumiputera youth to venture into franchise businesses by providing start-up financing

Criteria

• Bumiputera aged 21 and 40 years
• Sendirian Berhad company with 100% equity owned by Bumiputera
• Contribute at least 10% of the total project cost

Financing

• Mode of financing: Term loan
• Margin of financing: Up to 90% of project cost
• Size of financing: RM20,000 to RM500,000
• Interest rate: 6% per annum
• Maximum tenure: up to 5 years
