deCUTZ - Retail Modernization Concept Launch

deCUTZ is a collaboration of ideas from Perbadanan Nasional Berhad (PNS) and two siblings; Denny Iskhandar & Mohammad Zulhilmi who have been involved in the tailoring business since young. They have been involved in their father's tailoring business legacy called Bahtiar Afandi Traditional BMO (M) Sdn Bhd which has been in the market for over 30 years.

The tailoring industry is not new to this family where in the early days, they had gained knowledge and experience through their family business which is one of the pioneers in making traditional Malay clothing such as Baju Melayu and Baju Kurung. Located at the heart of the city in Wisma Yakin.

Moving from there, BMO (M) Sdn Bhd has forged ahead to become a franchisor in its own right. Their efforts did not stop from there, where Denny & Zulhilmi have created history where they took the initiative by PNS the agency mandated by the government in developing and strengthening the franchise industry and also to develop a new concept in "Retail Modernization".

Under collaboration with PNS "Retail Modernization Unit", deCUTZ was the first concept of modernization in tailoring industry which provides a "one stop centre" of tailoring services such as sewing, alteration and embroidery .With low overhead cost, it  offers high quality products, systematically managed, fast and efficient with a modern touch.

deCUTZ was launched on 9 March 2011 by  Prime Minister YAB Dato’ Seri Mohd Najib Tun Hj. Abdul Razak, to create a platform for the tailoring modernization concept. deCUTZ expansion plan is to open 20 branches in 2011. Locations have been identified as the first prototype in this coming May 2011 at Ampang, followed by  Shah Alam, Taman Tun, Damansara, Subang Jaya, Taman Melawati, Petaling Jaya, Setiawangsa in aligning to create 250 entrepreneurs by year 2015.
