FRANCHISE SERVICE CENTRE MAIN CHOICE FOR FRANCHISE INFORMATION

Now prospective entrepreneurs do not have to hunt for business ideas in the franchise industry. All information required to open a franchise business can be obtained from the Franchise Service Centre, Perbadanan Nasional Berhad (PNS) which is open to the public from Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 5.30 pm. Strategically located on the second floor of the Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) building, it provides various facilities such as consultancy as well as reference information materials. Weekly Briefing Sessions on Franchising and Meet The Franchisor Day are two permanent activities conducted throughout the year. Weekly briefings are given by PNS officers on Thursdays at 10.00 am with the aim to educate and guide participants on the basics and advantages of a franchise business. This session provides opportunities for participants to enquire further on the processes of becoming a franchisee and franchisor, and discover financing schemes offered by PNS. The Franchise Service Centre also receives an encouraging response from franchisors in promoting the franchise industry. The aim of the Meet The Franchisor Day, which features two franchisors at every session, is to promote the franchise industry to the public. It serves as a platform for prospective franchisees to interact with franchisors and at the same time gather information about the franchise business they would explore.
